어, 안녕하세요.
Since I’m a serial blogger how can I resist tying a blog entry when I see a big blue button that says ‘blog’? Obviously I can’t. Anyway, I think this site is a great idea. I think gay community blogs really haven’t kept up with the times in terms of adding social features like blogging, tweeting (micro blogging I guess is the non-trademarked lingo I should use) and of course social networking. Hopefully sites like this can lead the way for a new generation of gay websites.
My interest is primarily cultural, I’m currently learning Korean and have made a number of Korean friends, but given the extreme conservativeness of the culture and the age difference between me and the Koreans I’ve met (most of them are just out of college, in San Francisco either looking for tech jobs or to improve their English) I don’t really feel comfortable coming out to them. So, specifically, I’m hoping I can meet Koreans who would be interested in a language exchange where I would help them with English and they could help me with my extremely rudimentary Korean. But more generally, I’d like to meet people from other cultures and walks of life, which I always find fascinating.
